  11. The Retrospect 2.1 Updater enables Power Macintosh versions of Retrospect 2.1 to work on the new PCI-based Power Macintosh models. It also corrects a problem with startup drives larger than 2 GB.

  13. Using Retrospect 2.1 Updater:

  15. 1. Disable virus protection software before running the updater.

  17. 2. Launch the application “Retrospect 2.1 Updater”.

  19. 3. Click the splash screen to continue.
  20.  
  21. 4. Select your copy of Retrospect in the dialog and click Open.

  23. 5. A dialog will confirm that the update was completed successfully.
